Board of Directors
OSPRI is governed by a Board of Directors, made up of between 5 and 7 directors. Director positions are appointed by the shareholders on the basis of recommendations by the OSPRI Stakeholders’ Council, as established under the Constitution.
Paul Reynolds, Chair
Paul Reynolds is an experienced governor, public sector leader and strategist. He has held a range of senior positions in the public sector, including chief executive at Ministry for the Environment and deputy director-general (policy) at the former Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Fenton Wilson
Fenton Wilson enjoys a range of governance roles as well as farming in Wairoa with wife Sue. A former member of the Stakeholders’ Council and now director, he has been involved with OSPRI for 8 years.
Susan Huria
Susan Huria (Ngāi Tahu and Ngāi Tuahuriri) is chair of Leaderbrand. She is also a director of Eke Panuku, the Royal College of General Practitioners, and Accessible Properties NZ.
Michael James
Michael James has had significant senior executive experience in global private and public sector science and technology companies. He brings strategic, financial, and commercial insight and experience to the Board.
James Parsons
James Parsons farms sheep and beef in Dargaville, Northland and has extensive agri-business and rural sector leadership experience. James is a 2008 Nuffield Farming Scholar.
Nicole Davies-Colley
Nikki Davies-Colley and her husband have been involved in farming for over 35 years. Nikki chairs the Tiaki Plantations Company and the Kensington Hospital Ltd.
