How to make a tag enquiry
Use this step-by-step guide to enquire about the next visual tag from a sequence that has not yet been reserved or uploaded.
Preparing the CSV file
Your CSV will need to include all of the column headings, in the correct order. This includes headings for optional columns you are leaving blank.
How to complete each column
This field is optional.
You can choose to enter a reference number of your own — for example, 1,2,3,4. This will make it easier for you to identify which record — that is, which row of your spreadsheet — is incorrect if you make a mistake in your CSV.
If the visual ID you are enquiring about contains an AHB herd ID, enter it here.
If the visual ID you are enquiring contains a Participant code, enter it here.
If the visual ID you are enquiring contains an NAIT number, enter it here.
If the visual ID you are enquiring contains a year code, enter it here; for example, 2014 = 14
This field is optional.
Enter the minimum number of tags that you wish to enquire about in a contiguous sequence.
