How to upload multiple tags

This file can be used to upload multiple tags into the NAIT system against a specified NAIT number.

Your CSV will need to include all of the column headings, in the correct order. This includes headings for optional columns you are leaving blank.

 Column Heading Format
A IssueDateDate tags were issued.
 NAITRFIDThis is the unique 16 character code that relates to the NAIT tag. This information is provided by tag manufacturers or can be read with a scanner. It does not have to be provided if a NAIT Visual ID is provided. Examples that will be accepted include:

 NAITVisualTagIDThis is the information printed on the outside of the tag. It does not have to be provided if a NAIT RFID is provided.

 DulicateTagFlagIf intended as a replacement tag with a duplicate visual ID then set to True; else set to False.
 TagCategoryAllowable values are: 
• Cattle
• Deer
 ExternalRecordReferenceYou can choose to enter a reference number of your own, e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4. This will make it easier for you to identify which record (row of your spreadsheet) is incorrect if you make a mistake in your CSV.
 AHBHerdIDIf an AHB herd number is included then a participant code cannot be.
An AHB herd number can have leading zeros.
 LICOrParticipantCodeIf a participant code is included then an AHB herd number cannot be.
 NAITNumberIs a mandatory field and must be a valid NAIT number.
 ManufacturerReferenceNumberManufacturer order number (for reference).
 TypeATagProductCodeCode identifying the type of tag.
 TypeBTagProductCodeCode identifying type of tag.
Must be entered if Type A Tag Product Type requires a Type B Tag Product Type
 TagProductionTypeAllowable values for cattle are:
Dairy = D
Beef = B
Allowable values for deer are:
Venison = VE
Velvet = VT
