The NAIT Device Standard establishes the physical and performance requirements for animal identification devices approved for use in the National Animal Identification and Tracing (NAIT) scheme and the obligations that apply to any person or organisation licenced to manufacture or distribute approved NAIT devices under the scheme.
We are proposing changes to the standard in the aim of providing farmers with a broader range of solutions to achieve effective, lasting animal identification.

We're inviting submissions from all NAIT scheme participants including farmers, saleyards, meat processors, tag manufacturers and RFID reader manufacturers.
