How to restore an animal incorrectly declared as dead
Use this step-by-step guide to change the status of an animal to 'alive' if you declared it as dead by mistake.
Log in to your NAIT account and follow these steps.
- 1 Navigate to your list of Registered animals. Select Manage NAIT activities, then View/find/update – Animals.
- 2 Change the Status field to search for Dead animals only.
- 3 Enter the RFID or visual tag number of each dead animal you need to update in the text box and select Search
- 4 Select the animal.
- 5 Select Edit selected animal(s) then Record animal(s) as alive.
- 6 Select Save.
