OSPRI is accepting applications for four OSPRI Support Representatives (OSR). These are full-time, permanent roles based in Wellington. 
 
Ko wai mātou - About OSPRI  
OSPRI is the livestock sector’s integrated disease management and traceability agency and a critical part of New Zealand’s agribusiness and food economy. OSPRI currently manages three major national programmes: TBfree (directed at the eradication of bovine tuberculosis), M.bovisfree (directed at attaining freedom from M.bovis) and NAIT (National Animal Identification and Tracing System).   

Our Support Centre is big enough to create a great team atmosphere, but small enough so that everyone feels empowered to contribute their ideas and get involved in projects to support your development.

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role: 
We’re looking for motivated and enthusiastic people who are passionate about delivering exceptional service, enjoy interacting with people over the phone, and are committed to fostering a collaborative team culture.  

As an OSPRI Support Representative, you’ll play a key role in assisting farmers, landowners, and other stakeholders in providing expert support and ensuring their needs are met with care and efficiency.  

Your strong communication and problem-solving skills will help you resolve queries and handle a range of administrative and compliance processes that are central to the support centre’s success. Every day will look a little different in this role, with a mix of calls, emails and other tasks to break up the day.  

Kōrero mōu - About you: 
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of excellent customer service and thrives on creating positive experiences for our customers. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will help you build trust with stakeholders and handle queries with confidence.  

A solid understanding of New Zealand’s agricultural and farming sectors, along with prior experience in a customer service role, would be advantageous. However, what matters most is your enthusiasm, adaptability, and commitment to delivering high-quality support. 

In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • Confidence using technology
