Register as a farming organisation
If your business runs a large number of farms, you may choose to register with NAIT as an organisation rather than as an individual Person in Charge of Animals (PICA).
How registering as an organisation works
When you register as an organisation you appoint 1 or more people to be administrators of your NAIT account. Registering as an organisation can be an efficient way to keep your NAIT account up to date.
Organisation administrators can:
- register and maintain information about your organisation's PICAs
- register and maintain NAIT location numbers for your registered PICAs — this includes updating the PICA for a NAIT location if they change
- register and assign delegates for PICAs, and
- maintain information about the organisation.
PICAs are responsible for keeping the details of the animals they care for up to date.
