How to work with meat processing roles in MyOSPRI
Find out about the roles you can assign people in MyOSPRI as a meat processor.
People can have different roles in MyOSPRI, just like they do at a meat processing plant. You can assign roles to others to help manage Animal Status Declarations (ASDs) or people at your location (plant address or drop-off location). You can also assign roles at a meat processing farm location. Find out about MyOSPRI roles below.
Organisation-level roles
Organisation administrator
The organisation administrator sets up the organisation’s locations, and acts as our primary contact at your organisation.
Organisation administrators have full permissions, which means they can:
- invite new members to the organisation
- add people to, and remove people from locations
- assign roles, and remove people from roles
- accept, process or reject ASDs
- transfer ASDs to another meat processing location
- create and manage ASDs for farm locations
- edit location details
- deactivate locations.
Member
Member is the default role assigned when you first invite someone to your organisation. Until they are added to a location and assigned another role, they can see:
- team members
- ASD supplementary questions for the organisation.
View-only (organisation)
People in the view-only (organisation) role can see:
- ASDs at all locations
- staff members at all locations.
They can’t make changes.
You can assign this role to more than one person.
Meat processing plant roles
Location manager
A location manager is responsible for managing people at a location.
They can:
- add people to, and remove people from the location
- assign roles, and remove people from roles.
You can assign this role to more than one person.
Animal Status Declaration (ASD) processor
An ASD processor can accept, reject, review or transfer ASDs for a location.
You can assign this role to more than one person.
View-only
View-only is the default role assigned when you first add someone to a location. Until they are assigned another role, they can see:
- created ASDs at their assigned location
- staff members at their assigned location.
They can’t make changes.
You can assign this role to more than one person.
Meat processing farm roles
If you set up a farm location under your organisation, roles are different from those at a meat processing plant.
Location administrator
A location admistrator can:
- assign roles, and remove people from roles at the farming location
- create and manage farm location ASDs.
ASD admin
An ASD admin can create and manage farm location ASDs.
View-only
People in the view-only role can see:
- created farm location ASDs
- people associated with the farm location.
They can’t make changes.
