The results

The results of a compliance summary report are grouped as follows:

  • animals registered to your NAIT location number where their status is alive, dead, missing or exported
  • animals registered to a different NAIT location number where their status is alive, dead, missing or exported
  • animals that are unregistered — that is, a tag you've scanned but not yet registered against an animal in NAIT
  • animals recorded in a pending movement:
    • on to your NAIT location, and
    • off your NAIT location.

What the results mean and next steps

Alive animals registered to the NAIT number

This means that the animal is currently registered as alive at your NAIT location and has been registered correctly. You don't need to take any action.

Dead, missing or exported animals registered to your NAIT number

This means the animal is currently registered to your NAIT location but is marked as dead, missing or exported.

If this is not correct, you can change the status of the animal by finding it in your list of registered animals. Select Edit animal details to update its status. If the animal is marked as 'slaughtered', contact us to change its status.

Alive animals registered to another NAIT number

This means the animal is alive but is currently registered to another NAIT location. The animal may be registered at another NAIT location number because you haven't recorded a movement.

Make sure you have confirmed or created all movements of cattle and deer on to your NAIT location including from saleyards.

Dead, missing or exported animals registered to another NAIT number

This means the animal is registered to another NAIT number and is marked as dead, missing or exported. The animal may be registered at another NAIT location number because a movement has not been recorded to your NAIT number.

Make sure you've confirmed all the movements on to your NAIT location including movements from saleyards. Once the animal is in your NAIT account, if it's missing you can change the status of the animal by finding it in your list of registered animals and selecting Edit animal details. If it's dead or has been exported, contact us if you need to change its status.

Unregistered animals

This means the animal has not yet been registered to your NAIT number. After you've tagged an animal you must register it in your NAIT account — within 7 days, or before it moves off your farm, whichever comes first.

Register the animal to your NAIT location number by finding its tag number in your list of unused tags, and then selecting the Register animals button.

Pending movement on to the NAIT location

This means the animal is involved in a pending movement on to your NAIT number that is yet to be accepted.

Check your 'action required' movements and make sure there is nothing waiting to be confirmed.

Pending movement off the NAIT location

This means the animal is involved in a pending movement off your NAIT location.

Check your 'action required' movements and make sure there is nothing waiting to be confirmed.
