We have extended NAIT reporting timeframes to give farmers some breathing room especially if facing delays with transporters and meat processing.
These timeframes apply from today until Thursday 2 September and will be reviewed then.
TB testing by AsureQuality will continue as planned, with additional precautions in place to keep the testers and farmers safe. If testing needs to be reduced, activities will be prioritised to target areas at higher risk of infection.
We are reviewing our pest control operations to assess which operations are able to go ahead under various alert levels. We are working with our contractors, the Department of Conservation and Ministry of Primary Industries on next steps.
Case management of TB infected herds and farmer support will continue via phone and email.
The OSPRI Contact Centre is operating at reduced hours – 8am to 4.30pm. We also have reduced capacity but you can still continue to contact us by phone on 0800 482 463 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
