Improving our technology over the next 3 years
We’re starting work to upgrade our digital services to help meet the growing needs of you, our farmers.
Next year, we’re going to be working on changes to replace our current NAIT system with a new OSPRI portal. The OSPRI portal will be an improved, customer-focussed solution that will become our single system for animal and disease management.
We expect the changes to take just under 3 years to complete. With the first round of changes in 2021, you’ll be able to complete an Animal Status Declaration (ASD) through the portal. By the end of 2022, all our traceability and disease management functionalities will be managed through the portal, making it easier to manage your animal movements.
We’ll be turning off our existing systems through a staged approach, and we’ll make sure you know about any changes with plenty of time.
Next steps
