MyOSPRI has replaced eASD

On 24 July 2022, MyOSPRI replaced eASD as OSPRI’s electronic solution to Animal Status Declarations (ASDs). You can sign up here.

Cow's head inside green circleMyOSPRI is our new online customer portal that will become our single system for animal traceability. It has just replaced the eASD system and will eventually bring together all traceability and disease management information into one system, so farmers can view disease information and manage livestock movements easily online and in one place.

You can now send both farm-to-farm and farm-to-meat processor ASDs using MyOSPRI for cattle, deer and sheep. Please note you will not be able to see your historic ASDs in MyOSPRI, yet. Through the migration process we encountered an error and have paused the migration of all ASDs from the eASD system. We will resume the process later this week, once we have confidence the issue has been resolved. For now, all historic ASDs can still be reviewed and downloaded from your account in the eASD system.

Replacing the eASD system is the first step in the development of MyOSPRI. While we’re not replacing the NAIT system just yet, adding electronic ASDs to MyOSPRI and underpinning them with the same location framework that our new traceability and disease management systems will use will give us a more complete data picture for our biosecurity activities and will improve our responsiveness to new disease incursions.

It’s also been developed as a web responsive website, meaning you can download it and save it to your desktop or mobile phone like an app.

If you’re currently an eASD customer, you should have received an email directly to your inbox with a link to join MyOSPRI (please check your spam inbox if you didn’t receive it). This email will provide you with two links:

  1. To create a new password
  2. To check your account details are correct.

Please note, we encountered an error in the migration process of historic ASDs into MyOSPRI. To investigate the issue, we’ve paused the migration of all ASDs from the eASD system and will resume later this week, once we have confidence the issue has been resolved. All historic ASDs can still be reviewed and downloaded from your eASD account.

The link to set your new password will expire after five days. If the link is expired, don’t panic, simply click on the link and follow the instructions, or call the Support Centre if you’re stuck.
