Team members chatting over a cup of tea

OSPRI people are talented, collaborative and passionate about what we do. Whether we're working with farmers, creating innovative technology solutions or shaping legislation, we’re always looking for ways to do things differently, and do things better.

Who we're looking for

Woman sitting at desk using computerWe're not just looking for people with a background in farming, pest management or biosecurity — although it can help! What we're looking for are smart, forward thinking people who enjoy working collaboratively and want to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.

We want to hear from people of all ages, with a range of different backgrounds and work experience. Our goal is to build a diverse and inclusive team to help us achieve our goals and support NZ’s farmers, as well as the wider farming industry.

We work hard to provide our people with a culture and environment where they feel welcome, valued and supported. At OSPRI, every person matters.

Where we're based

Our head office is based in Wellington, but you'll find OSPRI people all round the country. We have regional offices in Palmerston North, Greymouth, Christchurch and Dunedin. You'll also find us out in the field, in every region from Northland to Bluff.

OSPRI benefits

We're a small organisation, so we get to know each other pretty well and we try to take time out together. Whether we're running Round the Bays, learning to make dumplings, or raising money for charity, it's always a team effort.
