We updated the NAIT Accreditation Standards 2 years ago for:
The changes were our response to feedback received from farmers and the wider industry following the Mycoplasma bovis outbreak. We want farmers to be confident that organisations handling and managing their NAIT data have been scrutinised and meet industry-agreed standards. This will lead to better outcomes for farmers and the wider industry.
We're planning to make minor amendments to the NAIT Accreditation Standards to add efficiencies to the accreditation process and clarify some of the requirements.
The changes are part of a wider review of the NAIT accreditation programme aimed at strengthening animal traceability and building more industry confidence with those who act on behalf of farmers.
