NAIT is moving to MyOSPRI

Find out about the transition from NAIT to MyOSPRI.

Once key NAIT features have been transitioned into MyOSPRI, disease information will also be transferred across. When work is complete users will be able to view disease information and manage livestock movements easily online, and in one place.

"Improving the NAIT system will decrease the barriers users currently experience when trying to complete NAIT obligations," says OSPRI Chief Information Officer, John Tucker.

"When using NAIT in MyOSPRI, users will find completing NAIT tasks easier as the system is set up to guide a user through the process. Ultimately this will improve New Zealand’s biosecurity system."

MyOSPRI has already replaced the electronic Animal Status Declaration (eASD) system. NAIT users can sign up and start using MyOSPRI now to complete farm-to-farm and farm-to-meat processor ASDs.

People in charge of animals (PICAs) who currently use the NAIT web application can sign up to MyOSPRI now to get a feel for the system before NAIT is switched off. It is important that the email address they currently use in NAIT matches the email address they will use in MyOSPRI.

PICA delegates will need a separate email address from the PICA when signing up to MyOSPRI. It will not be possible to use a shared email address to log in to MyOSPRI.
