Paul Reynolds, Chair

Paul ReynoldsPaul Reynolds is an experienced governor, public sector leader and strategist. He has held a range of senior positions in the public sector, including:

  • chief executive at Ministry for the Environment
  • deputy director-general (policy) at the former Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

He is chair of AgResearch and deputy chair of Manaaki Whenua — Landcare Research.

Paul was made a Companion of the Queen’s Service Order in 2018.

He has a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Otago.
